
Dr. Waltraud P. Indrist will deliver a lecture "To secure the German Reich": - Biopolitical designing +/- Planning Forces by NS-Institutions in the Baltic". The event is organised by the Vilnius branch of the German Historical Institute in Warsaw, in cooperation with the Faculty of History of Vilnius University and the Lithuanian Institute of History. The lecture will take place on March 10 at 5 p.m. in the auditorium no. 211 of the Faculty of History of Vilnius University. The lecture will be held in English.
From 1942 at the latest, the Nazi-Regime was pushing for further “East,” way past Poland. The lecture is going to elaborate on these multi-faceted strategies deployed by NS-institutions to design ± plan the future Baltic; particularly by means of the visually articulated dispositif.
