Publishing Group

Publishing is an integral part of the activities of the Lithuanian Institute of History, which impact significantly its research activities and the dissemination of research results. At the Lithuanian Institute of History, this work of is carried out by the Publishing Group.

Currently, this group employs one Lithuanian language editor, two layout designers, and one technical editor-proof reader.

The Publishing Group is headed by Mindaugas Maskoliūnas.

The Publishing Group of the Lithuanian Institute of History usually publishes works by the staff of the Institute:

Research journals and continuous publications;
Monographs;
Academic publications of sources;
Collections of research papers;
Conference proceedings;
Informative-bibliographic publications;
Small publications (programmes, dissertation summaries, invitations, etc.) Other publications.

The procedure for submission of publications is regulated by the Regulations on Publication of Submissions to the Lithuania Institute of History approved by the Order of the Director of the Institute of History of Lithuania No 73 of 1 September 2011. Subject to the availability of publishing capacities or upon request from other legal or natural persons, the Publishing Group may publish other scientific, journalistic, educational, or other material.
